Today I cook Hiyashi chūka (冷やし中華), which is cold ramen, perfekt for a hot summer day.
Hiyashi chūka directly translated means cooled (冷やし) china (中華 short for chinese noodle), since Ramen used to be also called Chūka soba (中華そば), meaning Chinese noodle.

Ingredients for Hiyashi chuka (cold Japanese ramen noodle)
Angel hair pasta (Cappelini) one portion (approx. 60g)
Baking soda 1 Tsp for 3 cup of water

Toppings:
Ham 2 slices
Cucumber 1/4
Tomato 1/2
Egg 1
Soy sauce 1/2 Tsp
Sugar 1/2 Tsp

Sauce:
Soy sauce 2 Tsp
Vinegar 2 Tsp
Sugar 1 Tsp
Mustard 1/2 Tsp
Sesame oil 1/2 Tsp
Sesame seeds (roasted) 1 Tsp
Ginger a small piece
