K-STEP students of 2012/2013 had the opportunity to visit a local Soba and Udon shop where the owner makes his own noodles.
We each got a shot at participating in the creation and later sampled the delicious hard worked for lunch.
Many thanks and appreciation to the staff and teachers at Kokugakuin who gave us this lovely chance to experience a bit of Japan.
And a big thanks to the shopkeeper and his son who welcomed us into their shop at 手打そば たつ実.

I apologize in advance for the vertical filming. The damage was already done when I realized what was happening. Lesson learned for the future. 😉
